Ken Livingstone, the motorist hating major of London has made a decision not to allow motorcycles into bus lanes in London.
He based his decision on there not being enough of a safety benefit for riders to use London's bus lanes following trials in the North of London.
Commenting on this decision was Craig Carey Clinch, the MCI Communications Director who said that the decision was 'bizarre' and additionally described it as 'little more than politically spun tripe, pedalled to suit a negative view about motorcycling'
In order that the results of the North London trial can be properly examined, the MCI has requested that the results be compared for analysis. Suprise suprise though, the Mayors office has not accepted the MCI's request as yet!

Apparently Kent Police have had to cancel over 150 charges of speeding against motorists after the officer was alleged to have fixed speed camera readings which made it look like innocent motorists were travelling faster than they actually were.
A Kent Police spokesperson was unavailable to comment at the time this story went to press.
