Ian Hutchinson will go down in the record books as a dominating force in the 2010 Isle of Man TT races. Ian wrote his name in history as he won all five solo races, an accomplishment that no racer on the Isle had ever achieved in the history of the Isle of Man racing series. Even though Ian dominated the solo races, the races were filled with some of the closest, fastest racing action that has ever been witnessed. During almost every race, lap records were broken and the winners were decided with less than two second margins in the over than 150 miles of racing action on the legendary Isle of Man course.

The 2010 Isle of Man TT event took fans through a gamut of emotions, from Ian’s joy as he was the first rider to achieve victory in every solo race, to the heart wrenching saga of Michael Dunlop and Ryan Farquhar as they suffered losses by minute margins after displaying some of the most tenacious riding action that has ever been witnessed at the TT. Then there was Guy Martin’s anger following a controversial time penalty that knocked him out of a podium finish, as Conor Cummins made an amazing record breaking lap of 131.511 mph in the beginning race. There was also the pride of James McBride as he laid claim to the first TT Privateers Championship to the dismay of legendary TT racer John McGuinness who missed making the podium for the first time in over 10 years.
The 2010 Isle of Man provided plenty of action for racing fans, especially for the fan base of Ian Hutchinson, who has secured his place in the history books. The 2010 Isle of Man TT races is an event that will not soon be forgotten by Ian or the many fans that were in attendance.
