Successful Austrian rider, Horst Saiger, is all set to make his Isle of Man TT debut in June, when he hits the Mountain Course for the first time. Saiger, who is no stranger to high-profile racing, has been the Swiss national champion for the past two seasons and will take part in the Superbike, Royal London 360 Superstock and Senior TT races onboard a 1000cc ZX-10R Kawasaki. He plans to run his own team with support from Kawasaki Switzerland.

The Austrian already has some road-racing experience under his belt, after taking part in the Macau GP, finishing in an impressive fifth place last year. He also has a decade of experience in the Endurance World Championship, competing for teams including YART and Bolliger Kawasaki. Speaking of his TT debut, he said;

‘The TT has a very large profile in Austria and Germany and I have had a lot of interest in my debut. The Mountain Course is one of the world’s most famous race circuits and I’m looking forward to testing myself on the track.’
