Bautista joins Riders for Health

Alvaro Bautista has travelled to Zambia to participate in the ‘Riders for Health Experience Africa’ venture, which he joins until the end of the month. Taking part in the adventure will raise money to save lives in Africa by providing health care and medicines in remote areas, an initiative promoted by the official MotoGP humanitarian organization.

Along with former Grand Prix rider and co-founder of Riders for Health, Randy Mamola, the group will take a long cross country motorcycle journey in order to witness first hand the humanitarian work of the organization. The motorcycles leading the trip are the very same machines that Riders for Health use to deliver aid to remote, rural communities throughout Africa.

Bautista: “I am so pleased to be taking part in this amazing adventure to Zambia with Riders for Health, I’ve been a supporter of Riders for Health for a long time and I can’t wait to see the work that they are doing. The riding will be fantastic, and everyone who signs up and comes along to help raise money for Riders for Health will have an incredible time”.
