Alvaro Bautista underwent an operation on Wednesday to remove the pins from his damaged left femur. Bautista was operated on by Dr. Angel Villamor at the USP San José de Madrid.
The MotoGP rider was injured during practice at the Qatar opening round of the season and underwent emergency surgery in Doha. This gave him discomfort and trouble all season.
Bautista: “Thanks to the all the staff at the USP San José hospital and Dr. Angel Villamor’s terrific team, who have always treated me well. Now I’ll rest and tomorrow morning I’ll get discharged to rest at home.”
