The Sepang circuit was in much better condition for today’s MotoGP test, and meant the Repsol Honda Team were able to make the most of the session. Both riders tested out the hard front Bridgestone tyre and engine mapping, with Dani Pedrosa continuing yesterday’s work on his shocks and forks. He eventually finished second fastest on the time-sheets, completing fifty-five laps and managing a fastest time of 2’00.651.
Marc Marquez also made good progress from yesterday, working on specific settings on his RC213V. He ended the day in an impressive fourth, with a total of sixty-four laps and a time of 2’00.992.
The test concludes tomorrow.
