Bike shop
I went to my local bike shop today to get some advice on storing my bike for the winter and what I need to do if anything.
I got talking to the guy in the bike shop and I couldn't believe that not only did he spend nearly half an hour talking to me about bike storage but also offered to get one of his mechanics to take a quick look over my bike to make sure there was nothing that needs doing to it, all at zero cost!
Whilst I was there I got some new gloves for next year. To be honest, I probably wouldnt have bothered just yet if the service from the bike shop hadnt been so good, but I was so happy with the overall attitude of the dealer that when he offered me 10% off the gloves I couldn't really say no!
A cynic would say that as its out of the bike season now and the bike shops are quiet then they are bound to give better service, but Im just happy that I have a place to go to where Im not gonig to get fleeced and they genuinely want my business.
