Bradley Smith is heading to Qatar this week for some pre-MotoGP practise aboard an R1 for the QMMF Championship. The young rider is preparing to partner Cal Crutchlow in the upcoming 2013 MotoGP season, after completing two seasons in Moto2 with the Tech3 team, so the Championship comes in perfect time before testing begins in February.
Bradley will also take in Abu Dhabi and Dubai during his Middle-Eastern adventure, where he will take part in track-days as a mentor for other young riders. He said he is thrilled to be given the chance to help the talent of the future;
‘I’m so looking forward to this trip…of course it’s great preparation for me before MotoGP testing gets underway in Sepang, but I’m certain there is some real racing talent in that part of the world.’
