Four-time winner of the World Superbike Championship Carl Fogarty and Ducati will have a reunion at Oulton Park at this weekend’s final round of the MCE British Superbike Championship.

Mr. Fogarty will be riding an 848 has he performs a track demonstration on the 2.69 mile parkland circuit. The demonstration will be to promote the Ducati 848 Challenge that will be expanding next year to include certain British Superbike Championship in 2011.
The last time that Carl rode for Ducati was in 2000 after winning four world titles and 55 out of 59 World Superbike victories while riding for the Ducati brand. Carl’s career came to an abrupt and premature curtailment after suffering an accident at Phillip Island, Australia. There are few who will soon forget the golden days of Carl riding his Ducati out in front of 120,000 of his adoring fans over the years at Brands Hatch.
The Oulton Park circuit also played a major role in Fogarty’s British Championship career since it is local to his native home in Blackburn. Fogarty has a permanent memorial at the Cheshire venue with a building bearing his name, the Fogarty-Moss centre that serves as the administration and hospitality facility for the venue.
