Casey doesn’t rule out a return to MotoGP

Many of Casey Stoner’s colleagues were shocked to hear the two-time MotoGP champion was calling time on his successful career at the end of the 2012 career, but according to the Australian rider, a return to the contest wouldn’t be out of the question…just as long as it is dramatically altered.

According to Casey, who has signed up to race V8s this year in a Red-Bull sponsored Triple-Eight Holden in the Dunlop series, the sport would have to undergo drastic changes before he would consider picking up where he left off;

‘I had no intentions of going back to the sport, but if I see it changing dramatically, to the point that it’s interesting, then I see every opportunity.’

So far though, he says he doesn’t see those kind of changes happening any time soon, so it looks as if we’ll have a MotoGP without the Aussie champ for some time to come!
