A new series from the man who brought you ‘Long Why Round’ and ‘Long Way Round’, Boorman documents another epic journey on his BMW R 1200 GS Adventure- this time it’s 10,300 miles across Canada. Taking on a multitude of tasks and exhilarating challenges, Boorman sees it all, from rodeo to heli-mountain biking and everything in between.
Charley Boorman: “I absolutely loved filming this series, but I have to say it was one of the toughest trips I have ever been on due to the intensity, the challenges we embarked on and the sheer distance we travelled. During the six-week expedition, I experienced some of the scariest and uplifting moments of my life but, as always, it was the amazing characters I met along the way that will stick with me.
“Canada is an awesome country and Extreme Frontiers is a great way for people at home to learn more about this amazing place, while having a good laugh at me trying to climb Mount Fable when my legs have turned to jelly!”
Charley Boorman’s Extreme Frontiers premiers: 9pm, November 28th on Channel 5.
