CN Racing calls it quits

Monday, November 12 2012

After a less than successful 2012 season, the Hebden Bridge based racing team, CN Racing, has decided to call it a day for the 2013 season. The team’s owners, Chris Greenwood and Julia Taylor, have sited pre-season injuries and changes in personnel as possible reasons for their lack of results this year and have said that despite a good offer for 2013, they are not going to pursue it and will instead bow out for 2013. Julia Taylor said;

‘There is a number of factors which have led to us making the very difficult decision to withdraw from the sport we love. 2012 didn’t live up to our expectations on track and we encountered a number of additional problems also which took away a lot of the enjoyment and that is the real reason we go racing…We’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank each individual member of our team, our product partners and everyone associated with CN Racing for a superb job. We’d also like to extend our appreciation to the marshals, medics, organisers and media as well as fellow competitors and wish them a safe and successful 2013 season.’
