Andrea Dovizioso’s surgeon has said that he should most definitely be fit in time for the first 2012 MotoGP tests, following injury to his collarbone last week.
Dr Giuseppe Porcellini’s operation on Dovizioso’s collarbone was observed by Dr Fabrizio Borra who is physio to both Dovizioso and Fernando Alonso.
Although the injury was a complicated one, Dr Porcellini said that he saw no reason why it should interfere with Dovizioso’s participation in the Sepang test, which begins on 31 January.
