The Fixi Crescent Suzuki World Superbike team had a positive day’s testing at Jerez yesterday, albeit a bit wet! Leon Camier was fourth fastest overall on the day, completing sixty-one laps and achieving a fastest circuit of 1’53.285. The damp conditions allowed the rider to evaluate his wet-weather settings, just what was needed for when it comes to the inevitable future rainy sessions during the year.
New team-member Jules Cluzel almost made the most of the session, testing his Yoshimura-powered Suzuki GSX-R to the limit. He made the most of adapting to his superbike, managing a fastest time of 1’54.168 over forty-one laps. He even achieved the eighth fastest time on the day.
The team now has one day of testing left in Jerez; they’re certain to be hoping for dry weather in order to get the most out of their session.
