Today the Bike Insurer spent the Day at Snetterton for the Hottrax Motorsport Endurance Championships, The Motorgrande and the Michelin power Cup. And what a great day out we had with the Hottrax crew, a thoroughly enjoyable day in Norfolk. A clear and dry day saw such names as Tristan Palmer, Brazilan Rhalf Lo Turco (Check out the Artwork on No46), Luke Stapleford and Former Prodigy front man Keith Flint, Number 115 on his Samsung Suzuki GSXR1000 competing in the Series.
I was Shocked to see only a crowd of around 200 people there today at an event that certainly deserved more than that. What surprised me the most and what really made the day special was the free to roam attitude about the circuit.
Providing spectators abided by the health and safety laws we were free to use the pit lane, paddocks and pit wall any time of the day which gave everyone there a real up close and personal feeling to the event, this combined with the fantastic atmosphere in the pits and fast high paced racing made for a fantastic day. Along of course with the Champagne and Hospitality given to me By Brazilian Rhalf. Thanks for that Mate.
As you will see from the pictures a lot of the teams here paid their own tribute to Marco Simoncelli by displaying the number 58 on their bikes.. We started the day with the Michelin Power cup which is a series of long distance Sprint Races using only Michelin Tyres. After this came the Motogrande Solo Race Championships, a great support class for the Endurance .

The Endurance itself was fantastic with Keith Flint competing against Tristan Palmer. Now you don’t see that every day. This event is all about Stamina, preparation and most of all Team work, didn’t matter if you were the Rider or Timekeeper everyone is important as each other in this 3hr event.
I hope you enjoy the Pictures and we look forward to seeing more of the Hottrax events next season beginning in March at Brands Hatch. And at only £13.00 for entrance, if you love your racing I urge you to go along and have a great day.
