The Jerez Circuit has confirmed a deal to host MotoGP in 2012- a deal which could potentially extend over at least a further four years.
With strong backing from the Andalusian tourist board, the deal of 4.4 million Euros will be paid directly to Dorna, series organisers.
Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports: “I’d like to thank the Junta de Andalucía and Jerez de la Frontera City Council for their support in working toward securing this iconic event.”
The Jerez Circuit is now in negotiation with Dorna in the hopes that those four further years can be secured.
