Ever since he made his first appearance in 2007, Jonathan Rea has made a name for himself as one of the top World Superbike riders and though he hasn’t quite managed to take the title yet, the twenty-six year old has achieved an impressive ten race wins and twenty-nine podiums.This year’s first round of the World Superbike Championship at Phillip Island on February 24th will see Jonathan make his one hundredth race start, something the rider hopes is the beginning of celebrations in 2013;

‘I’m looking forward to Phillip Island especially this year as race two will be my one hundredth World Superbike race…I love winning races and I’ve enjoyed being in the World Superbike family for all my races so far. I’m with a great team and riding against great competitors so I hope I can continue towards another one hundred races after Phillip Island.’
