Jules Cluzel forced to miss out on second day of testing

Friday, February 15 2013

Fixi Crescent Suzuki’s Jules Cluzel has been forced to miss out on today’s second unofficial test at Phillip Island, after a crash yesterday caused injury to his arm.

A high-speed incident caused Jules to land on his elbow, re-aggravating an earlier injury and leaving him with a hole in his arm. After medical examination, it was decided Jules would need a small operation to close up his injury, which has been scheduled to take place today. Jules will then return to his team’s base later in the day.

The ‘official’ World Superbike testing gets underway on Monday, when it’s believed Jules will be fit enough to take part as planned.
