Team Kawasaki got some positive testing under its belt in a two-day test at Aragon. Both Tom Sykes (pictured) and Loris Baz were able to get in some early experience onboard their ZX-10Rs; getting to grips with both its setup and its seventeen inch tyres.
Sykes managed to clock a fastest lap of 1m 32.8 seconds, slicing three tenths off the time he achieved at the circuit last year. Baz, meanwhile, managed 1m 33.4 seconds. Sykes said;
‘To be honest, the lap times came quite comfortably and we had a decent pace on the first day. We got some good info to keep moving forward with the development of the Ninja ZX-10R and overall, I’m happy with what we’ve been doing so far.’
The team has scheduled another three day test for the middle of November Motorland, Aragon.
