KTM recalls 239 UK bikes

KTM has decided to recall approximately 239 bikes in the UK as a result of a leaking fuel hose – a problem the manufacturer said was caused in production. The bikes affected are likely to be those with electronic fuel injection of the 2012/2013 year. While there have been no reports of incidents so far, affected bikes are:

  • KTM 250 EXC-F Six Days EU
  • 250 SX-F EU
  • 350 EXC-F EU/USA
  • 350 SX-F EU
  • Freeride 350 EU
  • 450 EXC EU/AUS
  • 500 EXC EU/AUS/USA

If you are have taken, or are due to take delivery of an affected bike, KTM will write to inform you of the fault and will then replace the hose at a KTM dealer.
