Wednesday, March 28 2012

Suzuki’s World Endurance Racing Team, the current reigning World Endurance Champions, have unveiled their brand new GSX-R1000 bike at the FIM World Endurance Championships at the Bol d’Or Test at Magny Cours, and they also used the opportunity to unveil the latest addition to their team.

Fabien Foret, the former World Supersport Champion will team up with Suzuki regulars Vincent Phillipe and Anthony Delhalle, as the team gears up to grab their twelfth World Championship title in the five-round series.

Foret said of his new team;

‘I am joining SERT for the fun and excitement of it and I’m hoping to win with a top team. I wasn’t sure that I was still on the pace after ten years of racing World Supersport, but I have got back into the groove pretty quickly.’

In the Superstock class, 2011 FIM World Cup winners Suzuki Team Motors Events ATM Asurances will defend their title with three well-seasoned riders; Guillaume Dietrich, Michael Savery and Frederic Moreira. As ever, the team will be managed by Herve Moineau.
