At Cadwell Park on Sunday, Michael Laverty used the curves of Cadwell Park’s track to his advantage at the fourth round of the fourth round of the British Superbike Championship as he worked his way up the present standings with a pair of podiums on his Suzuki machine. Laverty, who races for Relentless for TAS Suzuki, now sits on top of third place in the British Superbike standings with 101 points, which places him just nine points behind the second place racer in the standings, Josh Brookes and 45 points behind Worx Suzuki rider Tommy Hill, who is on top with 146 points.

Laverty’s team mate, Alastair Seeley had a challenging, character building weekend at the tracks. Seeley, after a struggle with minor set-up and confidence problems following  a slip in the Q2 session on the previous day, managed to finish in the top ten in both of Sunday’s races, finishing in 9th and 7th place. Seeley currently is in seventh place in the championship standing with a total of 79 points and is only one point away from being in the top six.

The team manager for Relentless by TAS Suzuki stated that from a championship standpoint that it had been a very good racing weekend for Relentless by TAS Suzuki and said that as he has said it time and time again, he knew that Laverty had those results within him and that with his times that Michael never was outside of the top five throughout the weekend.
