The three day Portimao test saw Eugene Laverty come out on top. On the final day of testing, Laverty steamed ahead of team mate Max Biaggi to complete a lap in 1:42.7, which, although unofficial, is a lap record!
Chaz Davies completed his first official test on the ParkinGO Aprilia, finishing ahead of Leon Camier on the Crescent Suzuki. John Hopkins, Camier’s team mate was not in attendance as he is currently recuperating from surgery- British Supersport champion, Alastair Seeley, rode in his place.
