In the second of three tests, Marc Marquez has finally managed to try out his bike during some dry laps in Malaysia. By 11:30, the track had dried enough for the Repsol Honda man to take his RC213V for a spin, trying out various setups and gaining in confidence. He even had enough time to test out the 2013 prototype which his teammate Dani Pedrosa experienced in Valencia.
Over the day, Marquez managed to complete sixty laps, with a best time of 2’01.355. He will return tomorrow for the third and final day. He said;
‘Today we finally had dry conditions for he whole day. We tried some new setups and I started to understand the bike better. It’s been a great day and I hope the weather remains dry so we can cover more laps and continue to learn.’
