New Repsol Honda Team MotoGP rider, Marc Marquez, has paid a visit to the Repsol Technology Centre to learn all about the development and production of the all-important fuel which will get him and his bike around the MotoGP circuits in the 2013 season. After some recent early testing, which gave Marc his first chance on the 1000cc bike, the rider has been getting used to his team as well as getting to know the labs and the fuel.
The Repsol Centre has a unit specifically for race fuels which works very closely with the Honda factory in Japan to help them get the most out of the twenty-one litres which they use every race. Marc said;
‘If I can, every year I make the most out of the opportunity to visit the Repsol Tech Centre as it’s always an eye-opener. It’s very interesting to see how everything is developed and know what your bike is using.’
