Max Biaggi enjoyed a great deal of success in the State of Utah in the HANNspree FIM World Superbike Championship that was held at the Miller Motorsports park. Biaggi returned to Italy with a pair of wins that he picked up on Monday in the seventh round of the World Superbike Championship. Both of the races that Biaggi won at Miller Motorsports were won by big leads after Carlos Checa suffered a double-shot of mechanical problems in the same day. Interestingly enough, Checa was the superpole winner.

In the first race, Biaggi edged out Leon Haslam by a margin of 4.931 seconds and won the second race by a margin of 5.899 seconds ahead of Leon Camier, it seems as if the Leons of Superbike were out to beat Biaggi but came up empty handed.
This is the third year in a row that the same racer won both of the two Superbike races at Miller Motorsports. In 2008, Checa had twin victories, then Ben Spies pulled off double victories in 2009. Now Biaggi in 2010 has reached what he said he was hoping and dreaming to attain, a double win.
Cal Crutchlow took the final podium place in race number two as he came in 7.363 seconds behind front-runner Biaggi, in the first race Noriyuki took third as he finished 6.432 seconds after Biaggi.
