Michael Laverty for Paul Bird’s MotoGP team?

Friday, November 23 2012

Michael Laverty (pictured) says that he has a number of offers on the table when it comes to racing in 2013, one of which is to fill the seat in Paul Bird’s MotoGP team made vacant by James Ellison when he was was given the boot after this year’s final in Valencia.

Michael says the CRT ride is one of several offers he is weighing up but, he adds, a MotoGP deal is a strong one, especially when it comes to future prospects;

‘CRT with the PBM squad is definitely a strong option. I have an extremely big decision to make over the next couple of days. I’m not ruling out other options so I have some hard thinking to do!’

Michael says he may well make his final decision as early as Monday, so watch this space for the result!
