A confident Michael Laverty of Relentless by TAS Suzuki made the qualification for fifth place in Sunday’s opening MCE Insurance British Superbike race to be held at Cadwell Park located in Lincolnshire as his fellow Relentless by TAS Suzuki rider Alastair Seeley qualified for the 15th place on the fifth row. Seeley’s 15th place position was due to a slip in the Q2 session.

Laverty who won at Oulton Park, was a little disheartened to not make a front row grid position after he done so well in the morning session, but is in a positive state of mind for Sunday’s races thanks to his consistent performance in all three Roll for Poll races.
Alastair Seeley did not fair as well, unfortunately he was caught trying to make the perfect lap following a red flag in Q2, as he slid off during his go around the track. However, Seeley, winner of the NW200 Superbike race, felt confident that he would be able to push his GSX-1000 up through the grid in the Sunday’s British SuperBike race.
Philip Neil, the team manager for Relentless by TAS Suzuki said that Relentless was comfortable with their race set up for Sunday with both racers, Michael and Alastair.
The Qualifying results for the British Superbike race at Cadwell Park for the first race puts Tommy Hill of Suzuki in the Pole position, Josh Brookes of Honda in second, Michael Rutter of Ducati in third, Ryuichi Kiyonari of Honda in fourth, Michael Laverty of Relentless by TAS Suzuki in fifth, with Alastair Seeley of Relentless by TAS Suzuki in fifteenth.
