At the completion of the first half of the Moto GP Championship, Jorge Lorenzo of Fiat Yamaha is leading the field by 72 points due to exceptional racing that has landed him six wins and three second place finishes thus far this season. One more top-two finish will put Lorenzo in an elite group of racers that have placed first or second in the first ten races of a season; if Lorenzo makes it to the top two in Brno he will be only the third racer to achieve that feat in GP racings sixty-two year history. The other two racers who have made this achievement are Giacomo Agostini and Mick Doohan. In order to keep the momentum going, Lorenzo will have to be victorious at a circuit that he has yet to win in the premier class, last year he crashed when fighting for the lead with his team mate Valentino Rossi. However, Jorge has a good history in the smaller classes that he has competed in at the circuit.
