British owned Motodex Yamaha or (Motodex Performance Fist Yamaha as they are known) will be running at the 2012 Supersport Championship.
The Managing Director, Tony Dexter, who sponsored Gearlink Kawasaki previously, is now negotiating with a few riders to race the Yamaha R6 and the team made an appearance at the last round (at Brands Hatch) where they also brought over AMA star Melissa Paris.
As a preview of what will be happening in 2012 BSB, the team owner, Dexter, said: “We are delighted that we will be contesting the 2012 British Supersport Championship as it really is one of the best series in the world. The racing this year has been incredible and we want to be a part of it for our team and sponsors. It’s our aim to be challenging for the title so we are talking with potential riders, many of whom have World Championship experience, and we hope to be in a position to announce further details soon.”
We at thebikeinsurer.co.uk can’t wait for the event, and Brands Hatch (if confirmed) should make an interesting start to the Supersport Championship.
