Lorenzo is under not under championship pressure going into the races, but will be looking for victories to top off the fantastic season that he has had in 2010. At the Estoril circuit it appears that Lorenzo has a hard time losing in the premier class, with victories in his prior two visits in 2008 and 2009. With such a record at Estoril, Lorenzo has confidence of winning his eighth race in his third Moto GP season.
Of all the competitors vying for second place behind Lorenzo, Valentino Rossi has recorded the most wins at the Portuguese circuit with five wins. Rossi, who rides for Fiat Yamaha has made the podium a total of nine times in his last ten outing at Estoril, failing to make it to the podium last year when he finished in fourth place.
