Established by ex Harley-Davidson engineer, Erik Buell, Buell motorcycles were produced until October 2009, when they closed up shop after shipping their 136923rd bike! However, a month later, Buell came back with a new project- Erik Buell Racing. This independent company now produces sport motorbikes for racing only, a smaller production rate in comparison to the original company, but it’s great that the Buell name still lives on!
Although this company is young in years in comparison to its rival manufacturers, Buell bikes still rank high in the popularity stakes and their Harley-Davidson-esque engineering puts them high on performance and style.
