The sun shone brightly on the Rob Mac Motorpoint Team and both riders gained valuable track time in absolutely perfect conditions.
For Loris Baz it was the first time he had seen the famous Lincolnshire circuit other than THE TV footage from last season. He could not wait to try the infamous mountain section and ended the test with a big smile on his face.
James Westmorland the 2011 superbike rookie continued to impress, his anticipation about wrestling the 240bhp Yamaha Superbike around Cadwell Park was soon forgotten as he gained confidence with every lap concluding his test in a very positive frame of mind.

“I am really getting to work the bike out and enjoy it, it’s weird but it seems so much easier to ride here than my Supersport 600cc bike last year, the grip and the suspension are incredible. I know it will get tougher as we get closer to race day and we speed up but so far it has been all positive, if we can keep this rhythm for the next couple of test we should be in good shape”

“That was so much fun; I have seen the track on TV and cold not wait to try the jump! It’s pretty funny I have never been to a track like this, for sure you have to be very confident, after two days I feel I know much more and feel good about returning later in the year. I have to learn this track and Kockhill where we test next week, I really love to ride my bike so when the sun shines and we have tests like this to look forward to I am happy!!”
