It’s almost time again for this year’s Motorcycle Live event, which is still more commonly known by the bikers amongst us simply as the ‘NEC Bike Show’.
The event is Britain’s biggest Motorbike show and will be held at Birmingham’s NEC Arena running from 19th-27th November 2011.
The annual festivities at the NEC Bike Show get even bigger and better each year! You can visit the Thunderdome Games Arena, check out the Off Road Zone or have a go on the Superbike Simulator. Whenever you decide to go, ensure you buy your ticket in advance and save yourself a few quid (£15 v £19).
The NEC is not just for hardcore bikers, but is a great interactive day out for the whole family; take an opportunity to see, touch, feel, hear, smell and even ride the very best that motorcycling has to offer.
And if you are planning on making the trip to the NEC this year, make sure you get yourself down to the opening ceremony to see a whole host of British racing talent, including MotoGP star Cal Crutchlow firing up his Yamaha M1!
One of the best things about the NEC Bike Show is the vast array of bargains on offer. Last year a member of the Bike Insurer team picked up a set of BKS leathers that had an RRP of £1,299, but because they happened to have his size displayed there on the stand, he was able to pick them up for a bargain £500.
The show is also a great chance to take a look at the new bike models for 2012 – with Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Ducati and many more manufacturers exhibiting their hottest new bikes again this year.
So go enjoy yourself, dream about new bikes and maybe even pick up a few bargains along the way…
