Nunn, got off to not so good of a start as he struggled in the qualifying session, but really came on strong in the opening MX1 race as he attained the fifth place position early on, as he hounded the leaders of the race. Nunn stayed with the leaders to finish with a second place win behind Brad Anderson.

Race number, with a poor start had Nunn as the sole racer to make any headway, as he speedily made his way up through the pack, before getting stuck behind MX2 racers who were fighting it out in the middle of the race. Nunn finally made it around the battling bikers to secure a fifth place finish.

Nunn stated that he was happy overall with the how the races went and that he acknowledged that it was not a secret that sometimes he had a hard time in the opening race of the day,  but this day was great and that he really was comfortable from the beginning. He went on to say that, the second race was a tougher race, but that he still was able to take advantage of a poor start to get through the pack to finish in fifth place with the help of the RM-Z450′s power.
