Ohlins has jumped to the challenge and already produced the specially designed FG385 fork, to be used in the production of prototype bikes for Moto3’s debut in 2012.
Incredibly lightweight at just 4450g, these forks are also simple to tune and service even in the race track. The design incorporates titanium nitride coated inner tubes to assist friction reduction in addition to twin radial brake caliper mounts.
Ahead of the game, Ohlins engineers are already meeting the requirements and needs of a new generation of riders and bikes. 2012 will be an exciting year with the introduction of the new Moto3 class and the success of Ohlins engineering and products looks set to continue far into the future.
