There was flurry of intense activity at Open Paddock day at Imola’s Autodromo Enzo & Dino Ferrari circuit leading up to the next to last round of the 2010 Hannspree FIM Superbike World championship. World Superbike competitors were engaged in a series of activities during the course of the Open Paddock day.

During the morning, a group of Superbike riders took a special test ride on a special a different type of fast machine, a rollercoaster. The Superbike racers paid a visit to the Mirabilandia theme park where they took a few high-speed laps aboard the F1-inspired iSpeed coaster. Superbike stars Biaggi, Haslam, Fabrizio, Toseland, Corser, Rea, Sykes, and Scassa posed for some photos in front of the rollercoaster before taking a ride on the fast coaster.
During great weather conditions in the afternoon, the Imola paddock was opened up to the public, permitting Superbike fans to obtain autographs from their favourite Superbike racers in the Open Paddock.
The autograph session for the public was followed by a visit from the Bishop of Imola, Monsignor Tommaso Ghirelli who met with team mangers and mechanics before asking a blessing upon the track at the starting line.
Open Paddock day at Imola ended with a press conference at the Paddock Show, as the media done a Q & A session with WSB stars, Biaggi, Rea, Crutchlow Haga, and Haslam along with a few other WSB racers.
