Tyco Suzuki has nicely rounded of its British Superbike line-up for the 2013 season, with the addition of American rider, PJ Jacobsen. Jacobsen’s career has undergone a swift ascendance, with successes this year in appearances at Donington and Assen, as well as podiums in the Silverstone and Brands Hatch final of the Superstock class. As a result of his strong efforts, Jacobsen was a firm favourite amongst fans, sponsors and Tyco Suzuki staff.
The move to British Superbikes for the 2013 season will see Jacobsen partner Josh Brookes on the GSX-R1000 machine, and it marks the nineteen year old rider’s next step in what’s turning out to be a very promising career. He said;
‘It’s great to finally sign the deal to ride for Tyco Suzuki and I’d like to thank team boss, Philip Neill, and Phil Dashey from Tyco for their support. The team stood by me this season and gave me an opportunity in British Superstock and Supersport and put my career on the map. I can’t wait to get out there now and test the Superbike.’
