Round number seven of the World Superbike Championship is scheduled to take place over the holiday weekend at Miller Motorsports Park, that is located a couple of miles away from Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The track is 4,907 metres and is thought to be one of the most challenging tracks that the Superbike racers will face on the schedule for 2010.

In with the favourites to take the podium in Salt Lake City is Carlos Chea. The Spanish racer for Team Althea Racing has previously enjoyed a great degree of success in America, as he pulled off a awesome double in 2008, and then came in second in the first race last year, coming in second to American racer Ben Spies. Chea will be feeding off the inspiration from a splendid performance two weeks back at Kyalami, where he came in second, following race winner Michel Fabrizio who will be trying to continue his winning streak for the Ducati team.
Chea’s team mate, Shane Byrne is prepared to run two good races. The bishop of Team Althea is aiming to get some top ten results; he did not pick up a lot of points at Kyalmi, but both team and rider are confident since just a year ago he was able to reach 10th place in the second race as he competed on American soil.
