Leon Haslam (pictured) and Jonathan Rea have completed a two day test in Jerez, the first time they’ve managed to experience their Pata Honda World Superbike livery in action. The team used the days to get used to their brand new electronics package which has been produced in conjunction with Honda’s MotoGP project. The team also tested out a revised swingarm for their CBR1000 Fireblades. Two more tests are lined up when Pata Honda heads to Phillip Island ahead of the first round in April. Jonathan Rea said;

‘We’re not really where we want to br right now because we couldn’t get as much out of these two days as we would have liked…However, I felt some good things so it’s encouraging…we need more track time, but that’s coming in Australia so we’ll hope for better luck there.’
