Red Bull will see in the New Year with a spectacular show; as a double record-breaking jump attempt takes place in San Diego, with live coverage on ESPN. 28 year old, Levi LaValle will take the jump on his snowmobile alongside 30 year old Maddison who will take the challenge on his motorcycle.
LaValle and Madison will perform a simultaneous jump over 300 feet of water, from North to South of the Embarcadero Marina Park, San Diego Bay. LaValle’s current record stands at 361 feet and Maddison’s at 391 feet.
Last year, LaVelle suffered a crash whilst training for the Red Bull event- mere hours after completing his record-setting jump. He is now fully recovered and ready to attempt another record-breaker. Maddison is no stranger to the Red Bull series either, having kick-started the event back in 2007, motorcycle jumping over 322 feet of a Las Vegas football field.

Both athletes are excited to be a part of this novel experience, and after LaValle’s misfortunes and disappointment last year- he’ll return with a storm. This is most definitely not an event to be missed, as these two record-breakers throw themselves (quite literally) into the New Year.
