The final few practise rounds for the 2012 MotoGP have been taking place in Valencia for the Repsol Honda team; with Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner trying their best to combat the less than perfect weather!
The first practise round gave the two riders the chance to test the newly-laid tarmac, but within no time, rain had set in which threatened to hamper play for all involved. Nonetheless, Dani Pedrosa managed to complete seventeen laps of the course, with a fastest time of 1’45.490. His teammate Casey Stoner finished fourteenth, with a quickest time of 1’47.527.
By the time the afternoon rolled around, Casey decided enough was enough and chose not to take to the track, while Dani headed out on a first lap, before calling it a day. With a bit of luck, the rain will hold off for tomorrow, when the riders take to the track once more.
