Rutter in demand for 2012 season

Michael Rutter appears to be in high demand as next season’s British Superbikes Championship teams are finalised.

Rutter had originally been seen as a potential target for the Honda TT Legends team, but now that move is looking increasingly unlikely.

As regards other options for the rider, SMT Honda could potentially make their return to the championship- a team that Rutter has ridden for in the past.

There are also rumours that talks have been held with the Irish JMF Millsport team who are also planning a return to the championship this season following a two-year absence.

The man himself is seeking a position which will also enable him to compete on the roads in 2012- he looks to take on the challenges of the Isle of Man TT and the North West 200 in Northern Ireland.

We say good luck to him, wherever he ends up!
