Schumacher back on track!!

7 times F1 champion Michael Schumacher made a return to the track at Valencia this week – on board a full spec Moto GP bike!

The now retired star of 4 wheels legend has ridden before, on a 990cc Ducati at Mugello in late 2005. Then he was way down on the times set by the 2 wheel racers, but this time he was a whole lot quicker.

The day after the Valencian Grand Prix, the final race of the season, Schumacher took to the same Spanish race circuit on board Casey Stoner's 800cc Desmosedici, which won the 2007 MotoGP World Championship.

Schuey then proved what an incredible racer he is by riding the circuit just 5 seconds behind Dani Pedrosa’s race record time of 1 min 32 seconds. Clearly all the coaching from former 500 GP star Randy Mamola paid dividends as he just got quicker and quicker for the afternoon he was out on the track.
