Wednesday, April 28 2010

Carl Nunn, who races for Team MVR-D Suzuki, went through a racing day of highs and lows on Sunday the 26th at the Red Bull Pro Nationals that took place at Landrake in Cornwell. Nunn started off strongly on his Suzuki RM-Z450 during the qualifying for round two of the Red Bull racing event, then he saw setbacks in the first race, but overcoming the setbacks he came back and climbed the leader board before the day was finished.

Getting off to a solid start in the Landrake round, Nunn appeared to be in his usual rapid form of racing as he ended his qualifying heat as the third quickest competitor. However, as he took to the track in the first race, he suffered some crashes that through him back to a disheartening 16th place finish.

As Nunn entered into race two, he was able to move past the problems that he had in the first race to finish in 6th place (even though he crashed in the second race as he did in the first), to finish the day in 10th place.

In related news, team rider Matiss Karro in the competition in the Netherlands, made a big turn around after a DNF in race number one evolved into a 15th position in the number two race, placing him in 15th place in the series.
