As the manufacturer of the strongest steel sprockets on the market, Sunstar has turned its attention to producing a fantastic range of off-road aluminium sprockets.
These aluminium sprockets are computer designed in order to maximise strength and minimise weight. Cut from aerospace grade 7075 T6 aluminium, the sprockets feature a unique tooth valley profile, which helps to provide at up to 24% more chain contact area than a standard design.
As aluminium sprockets are well known for their fast-wearing tendencies, Sunstar has provided a solution in order to increase product durability- application of an advanced, anodized coating. This coating has been proven to increase lifespan of aluminium sprockets by at least 15% in comparison to other brands.
