Japanese manufacturer, Suzuki, was honoured with the British Supersport Manufacturer award at the Motorcycle Live event in Birmingham.
The award was presented to Suzuki GB’s George Cheeseman in recognition of TAS racer, Alastair Seeley, grabbing the rider and manufacturer titles in the final round of the championship.
Cheeseman: “Naturally we’re delighted to accept this award and especially pleased to accept it here at Motorcycle Live. I’d like to thank the TAS team and Alastair for making this possible.
“Their determination and huge will to win, while developing the all-new GSX-R600 along the way, is a huge credit to them.”
