After a year of enjoying racing success on UK roadways and tracks, Suzuki GB PlC is happy to reveal their new 2011 racing programme. The 2011 racing programme is a subsidised opportunity to make racing easier to afford for club racers or for those who race in the British Superbike Championship or in the Supersport events.

With the arrival of Suzuki’s new GSX-R600 in the UK scheduled to be early for the up-coming 2011 season and being featured on the programme, Supersport competitors are planning on dominating the racing scene as the new GSX-R600 sheds 9 kg from the previous model. As the new GSX features Showa Big Piston Forks as a standard feature and is fitted with the famed Brembo Monoblock braking system, this motorcycle is ready to hit the track.
Additionally, the Suzuki GSX-R1000 is on the programme as well. The GSX-R1000 is one of Suzuki’s established and proven performers, having finished 2010 as the fastest Superbike in the world in the road racing arena, with Suzuki by TAS racer Bruce Anstey astride of it. The GSX-R1000 was also the dominating bike in the British Superbike Championship, with the final shoot-out having more of the GSX-R1000s than any other motorcycle.
