The team will see new blood for 2012, with the announcement that Kev Coghlan will be joining the ranks. Coghlan will compete alongside team member Deane Brown in the Supersport Championship on the team’s new Yamaha R6 machines.
Ryan Watson, GP125 rider, will remain with the team for a second year and once again take part in the GP125 Championship. 2011 was Watson’s rookie year and he made an impressive start to his British Championship career, achieving 3 podium positions and finishing a very respectable 7th overall.
In 2012, Doodson Insurance Group will be supporting the team, along with established supporters including Yamaha. Team Appleyard Macadam are one of the longest running teams in the British paddock today and will this season boast a very promising, all Scottish team.
