Even though Tommy Hill is the series leader in the British Superbike Championship with the most points after nine rounds of racing action, the Championship rules make the point count all but level for the top six racers in the Title Fighter Shootout. The levelling of the points means that all of the remaining seven races will be critical to winning the Title.

Tommy Hill when commenting on the Title Fighter’s Shootout said that with only seven races left that will determine the winner of the Championship that it will be important to reach the podium each race. Hill stated that this has to be our plan, but to win the championship you need to have wins as well as podium finishes, you need to be consistent, and then Hill added, not too consistent (figure that out).

Even though Hill has led thus far in the Championship, he still has some racing out ahead of him yet. As Hill aims for consistency, but not too much of it, he has the British Superbike Title in his sights.
